ICON members celebrated in style at our Christmas Luncheon on llth December. Around 40 glamorous members sporting Festive Sparkle brought Christmas Cheer to the Vaerthuset, in Baerums Verk.

We enjoyed delicious Norwegian reindeer and fish, 

served in this stunning historic venue.

Everyone contributed to raising the grand total of NOK 4165 for our Charities which was fantastic. This was achieved by way of our "mystery prize" raffle for which we had some fantastic donations. Thank you to everyone who helped organise the lunch, the Raffle and to everyone who was able to share this lovely occasion.

Dates For Your Diary in January 2013....


Our next Member`s meeting will be held on Tuesday 15th January at Hovik.

The topic is "A Whole New You"!  This will be a fun, motivational and inspiring morning not to be missed! Members will be introduced to some helpful coaching techniques and we will also have 4 or 5 tables set up by Professionals who will share health related info ranging from massage,yoga, flower remedies, meditation and women`s health.

There should be some super Raffle prizes up for grabs!

Please remember to park with care at Hovik!  Members are asked to refrain from parking up the drive-way.  Parking is available by the supermarket close to the Church.

"Meet the Partners" Evening on February lst, 2013

Here is an opportunity to show-off your other half!  Bring your partner along to meet and mingle with ICON`s best! This will be the highlight of 2013 for them! Cost will be 200 NOK per person to include drinks and canapés. Details to follow soon...

ICON Christmas Luncheon and Cookie Exchange

ICON Christmas Luncheon on Tuesday December 11th

Our Christmas Luncheon this year will be held at Vaerthuset, Baerums Verk.

Please note that paid reservations are needed before Sunday 9th December 2012.

It is also very important that you follow up with an email to our vice president  at: 

icon.oslo.vicepresident@gmail.com stating your name amount paid and if you require the vegetarian option. Looking forward to seeing you all on what is always a very special day!

Last year the Raffle at the Christmas Luncheon was a great success and great fun! It is slightly different from our usual monthly raffle in that we ask members to donate "mystery prizes"! These are gifts which are already wrapped and ready to put under your tree or to pass on as a gift to someone you love!  (a discreet description of the contents in an envelope attached to the outside makes this possible).  Because this is a rather special occasion and a big fundraiser for our charities at this time of the year, we ask that the value of the gift is not less than 200 NOK.  This helps with the sale of our tickets and guarantees that the lucky winners get a lovely prize.  Please remember that this is optional and NO ONE is under any obligation. We need both donors and ticket buyers..so whichever you are, you are helping to raise funds for our charities and will make a difference whilst hopefully having some good fun!

Cookie Exchange

This year`s Cookie Exchange took place on Monday 3rd of December!  ICON members enjoyed a morning of coffee, socialising, a Christmas ornament game and of course the exchange of homemade goodies for the holiday. A big thank you to Sally for organising.
