We are delighted to welcome Ms. Solveig Grinder, Training and Development Advisor for the Norwegian Handicraft and Education Association (Husflid) who will sew together for us everything you may have heard, or wondered about these colourful costumes that Norwegian women, men and children wear proudly on special occasions such as weddings,baptisms, confirmations, holidays and especially the May 17th National Day Celebrations.
If you own a Bunad, we would love you to wear it or bring it with you to the meeting to show it
(and yourself) off!
Our President Vivien Black will also be giving her Annual Presentation and we will
vote on and Welcome our New ICON Committee for 2013/14
Following these events, we will be having a Zumba Session!!
